Why hasnt this been implemented yet? It’s so frustrating to find games in DB with friends. We just about find a game, and then suddenly it fills up and my friends cant join. Or if they manage to join my game, they get put in the other team.
Can you please implement this?

Thats not a party though. You dont all join a game at the same time on same team, or do you? Because it doesnt say “create party” like it does on Competitive. I’ll have to try when my friends come on

so long as pre mades are forced to play other pre mades rather than the normal pubstomping waste of time im down for that , but its been my experience from other games if they have to fight fair they stop queing

I think this would just lead to even worse balanced casual games. I’m happy for it to stay how it is.

This is to prevent stacking, meaning unbalanced teams due to parties containing a lot of good players. If parties were allowed in pubs, then the community would get very angry very quickly because nobody would have a fair chance. Yes there would be the off chance that two queued teams play eachother but it would be very rare as the majority of players, indeed play alone.

Because everytime I always have to join a half empty lobby before it fills up and my friends will have to quickly join and it isn’t always guaranteed to have open spaces.
Also between matches, we often get switched to opposite sides and sometimes we don’t always have unbalanced teams, therefore it wouldn’t let us switch sides.
Who else thinks we should be able to make parties like the ones in competitive in casual matches?

I agree with you. Should have a party for normal games and also should have quick join OPTIONS.
I’m from Brazil and we have the S.A servers but, I like to play in the US East and West servers and should options to that, like: SA Servers, US Servers, EU, AUS servers. So you save and press quick join.
If I press quick join now, it would join a SA server, so I have to use the browser.
It’s not a big deal, there is a lot of ideas better than this but, it is something.

but its obviously not that , because they can join as a team in the team game , and they could just join the same server in casual and play a balanced game if all tehy want is to play together, but they dont want that either , what they want is to be a premade that can only face pugs. and thats called being a pussy pubstomper

The thing with party function for public is that when you are like 5 ppl, you probably have to join an almost empty server. There is only 8v8 max. There are no 32 player servers. This is the first problem I can see. When there are a lot of 5 man parties, searching for a match, guess what it won’t work. Probably you join a 5v5 match, but then the question arises why don’t you play matchmaking?
Just join a server via server browser and your mates can follow it is that simple! Works since 1999.
Join a server and your friends follow you. Thats how shooters work. I mean when you want to play as a group why not play matchmaking? Ah right because there you can’t stack one team and spawncamp the other or change to winning team at the end of match. sry I forgot silly me kappa.

Actually i don’t , but i do think that’s the end result, joining as a group has certain inherent bonus’s that always unbalance the match, for a start off you not going to go afk on each other, no ones going to sit there eating cat food, you probably have voice coms and use them which is huge, odds are they bring a balanced unit that will actually work together just a 3 man co ordinated team is a huge thing to stop for solo pugs. the teams going to be balanced because they can discuss mercs to bring before and will actually pick as a team so you wont be medic less, wont have half your team as camping vasalines etc. There are just so many inherent bonus’s to being a premade it is going to unbalance things.
then theres the issue of competitive mode mattering? to who and why? not even the top tenth of one percent that are actual pro players will be picked for a team from that score or be reliant on it to stay in a team , its pure epeen and if that matters to you more than playing with friends you werent that bothered imo.
and then if its just friends hanging out playing in a game that doesnt matter, why do they have to be on the same side? why cant you be on the same server but keep it balanced so everyones time is respected? im meant to believe its only fun to play together against a pug and you cant enjoy playing against each other?
sorry just dont buy it , nut up and play a fair game in comp against other teams or have some respect for the people you play with and balance the teams.
