Panzerfaust to overpowered

Well the PF is atm far to overpowered if youve reached your max combat skill youre able to shoot one rocket after the other and the dmg is incredible if you`Re going to play clanwars or stuff you simply take 4 rocket soldiers 2 medics and start spamming.
i suggest that you lower the dmg or set a higher reload time maybe 60 seconds without a combat lvl and with highest combat lvl 30 seconds that would be the best way to prevent that ppl start spamming with that weapon.
in rtcw you only got 1 shot in bout 45 secs dont remember exactly the time but that forced you to place you shot well and only shoot at whole groups of more than one player.
but at the moment with such a low reloading time it doesnt matter if you shoot at only one player cauz within 5 seconds your able to shoot again.
the conclusion is simply set the reloading time higher and at the highest skill maybe at 30 seconds.

Also the rockets are WAY too fast, which equals unstoppable and undodgable spam.

I agree nearly 100 percent. The damage done against enemy soldiers is much to strong. Actually it’s a PF (Panzerfaust - translated = Tankfist).
A PF is designed especially to destroy TANKS. On the other hand, you are able to repair the Tank VERY fast.

I suggest you set down the repair speed, lower the damage the PF does on Soldiers and make the PF only shootable in a duck or crouch stance.

panzerfaust damage is ok but in classic rtcw a pf must wait for a group to be effectiv, now 1 shot 1 kill 1 sek later another shot another kill. 30 sek reload time is ok with a high lvl soldat.

I would agree that the panzerfaust is a little too powerful.

I think they should slow it down a little. A direct hit should still be instant damage, but maybe reduce the splash damage so you at least have a fighting chance of surviving if you are not directly hit. I also find that the panzerfaust can seem to kill a little too easily even when proned and well covered underneath the back of the tank.

Panzers aren’t too powerful, they’re the only thngs that can kill medic. :smiley:

did any of you even consider the limit of 4 ammo? especially when there are no field ops in your vicinity…

you guys sound like you havent even played RTCW! this panzers are like freaking firecrackers compared to the awesome power weapon we’ve seen in RTCW. besides the fast reload its NOT that powerful.

I think that the recharge bonus should be 80% of normal charge vs 67% of normal charge (same with mortars). It’s a slight change that still rewards the skilled panzer player but does not make it possible for allied panzers hanging out at the ammo shack - or axis panzers hanging out at the allied command post to keep up a constant barrage of panzer rockets

Panzer is fine with me but then again i dont care what happens to this weapon.
