Is it just me, or does the Axis “I’m a medic” sound exactly like Dr. Zoidberg from Futurama?
For those of you who don’t watch this kickass show (shame on you!) Dr. Zoidberg is an incompetent crustacean alien doctor with an insatiable appetite. He is also the second most hilarious character on the show (after Bender).
Seriously, I swear they ripped the sound right off the show. But now I can’t stop laughing when I hear it. Am I the only one?
heh I thought that too when I first heard it. The voice also sounds like a deli butcher at my grandpa’s village in the old country…“oivey these bullets are moidering me” "…“well your at it if it’s not too much trouble can I have some ammo, mr fields-ops type person”
Absolutely! I’m playing under the handle Dr. Zoidberg, in fact, for that very reason. It cracks me up every time. It helps that I’ve been watching Futurama a lot on Adult Swim, lately.
