Opinions on the new trade-in price?

Trade-in’s have been changed to 2 cobalt cards and 24,000 credits for a random cobalt (other tiers differ, see in game for prices), so what do you all think of the new price change? Let me know below!

Footnote: Before anyone asks “why is there not a re-roll option?” (ie. 1-for-1) - It’s because the dev’s practically ruled this out a while ago. The trade-in system is here to stay, and the pricing is what we are voting on here.

I´d actually vote for 1:1 + 16 credits for example

Honestly I don’t care about the credit cost, because I wont ever bother upgrading to Cobalt unless I have nothing to spent credits on anyways.
Were there any changes for the lower tiers and if so, what are they?

Like, this is a solution NOBODY asked for, 3 cards and no credit cost, period.

Better yet, have a freaking store so we can trade 3 cards + that credit cost so we can get the EXACT card we want.

@Watsyurdeal I actually saw 1 request for it on reddit a little while ago… XD that’s why I added it. I figured I’d be fair with the responses, just in case anyone was mad enough to vote tha- oh… you did. :stuck_out_tongue: lmao

Attaching a credit cost seems like just a credit sink. If they won’t do a 1/1 trade in with cost then a 2/1 without cost does the job of removing unwanted/unused colbalts without punishing the player for using the system.

Well they should have done the same thing for lower rarity trade-ins which are still 3 cards. Pure non sense.

And no, 1 for 1 or exact result trade-ins have no chance to happen. Both result in straight customer satisfaction for something they will consider a fair trade-off. That’s a gambling system so that would a total mistake.

No poll option for me - something with less RNG. I don’t care about credits.

Something like 2 Cobalts + X credits => 1 Cobalt with merc AND primary of your choice. This cuts possible loadouts from 9 to 3 and at least guarantees you usable weapons.

I´d like too, been able to choose primary, but, We cant right now choose the merc ?

2 cards and 24k? … well, it’s better but I think I rather keep spending my credits for the illusory Swiss CR81 Nader and trade-up dem piles and piles of gold Hochfir Naders.

“So you spent a lot of money and invested lots of time to get cobalt but RNG wasn’t on your side and you got bad cards… wanna trade 2 or 3 of them for a random card? … which will most likely to be a bad card because RNG and majority of the cards being objectively worse than 2 or 3 cards out of 9 because we know vidya gaem design”

1 for 1 with 24k cost and what @MarsRover suggested would sound good to me but I’m not a developer or designer so what do I know about satisfying people (even tho this thread is full of better ideas than the ideas devs have come up with)…
Oh well… I feel like it’s not going to change any time soon so the whole bloody system can dig a trench or bugger off.

Especially since it takes forever to get a few useless cobalts that you’ll never use under any circumstances.

Credit cost is still too high. 2 cobalts is already a heavy price to pay for a new random one, why add 24k on top of that?

This is still too high a cost, if not the cards, the credits are.
