openGL required for dedicated server?

I have a laptop comming. But it doesnt have a good video card, so I want to know if OpenGL is required to run the server.

No. I think the installation program requires 16 bit color, but the dedicated server should even run in 256 color mode.

Servers running the win32 server in dedicated mode don’t need openGL. Just some kind of video device so you can see what’s on the screen. =)
