I click on the game and then the screen comes up acting like its loading them pops off and says Open GL error or something along those lines. Other then this i seem to have the correct system requirements. Any help?

Windows XP by any chance? Win XP doesn’t support OpenGL games. You need to get the latest drivers for your graphics card from the manufacturer. It’s quite easy. Tell us what card you’ve got and I’m sure someone can give you a link where you can download the appropriate driver.

OpenGL is the rendering language used by ET for graphics. This typically means you have either outdated or the incorrect video drivers instealled. Go to your manufacturer’s website or the people who made the chipset (nVidia for geForce type cards, ATI for Radeon type cards) and download the latest driver updates.
Also, make sure you are not running any other programs that use OpenGL. Even Winamp supports plugins that use OpenGL, and if they are running they can prevent ET from working properly. Safe bet is to close everything down that you don’t absolutely need before you start the game.
Finally, try to post the specific error message that comes up. That can give us a clue as to what might be going on.
