One thing Really Wrong with the Event.

Before I start let me just say this is entirely my own opinion so please don’t unleash a wrath of hate onto me.

So, I personally think that for week 5 of the Event, only people who have bought the Obsidian case should have their percentage counted for who will be crowned the culprit.

The merc who wins the event will effect the people who bought the Obsidian more than others. So I feel it should be designed so the majority of people who bought the Obsidan are happy with the card they got.

I feel that Proxy is Played the most amongst Noobs and I feel there are more noobs taking part in the event than long time players of the game. I also feel that long time players are much more likely to buy the case.

I just think that if it was set up the way I wan’t it then it would give the other mercs more of a chance and would leave less people paying for a card for a merc they don’t like.

It’s really quite hard to explain my point in a forums post but I hope you have a basic understanding of the point I am trying to put across.

Feel free to share your views on the topic but please no hate all you proxy players.

Also if proxy wins I will be very Salty.

Please note: I have bought the Obsidian Pack and I am a lvl 20 Player who is team #AnyoneButProxy

basically you are raging at the fact that proxy will win instead of the merc you want. so you want to change the rules of the game. not going to happen.

The result will also affect everyone who bought the Culprit case (the one you can buy with Cycles and which most likely everybody got considering how cheap it was…), so it would definitely not be fair to leave it to only those who paid for the Obsidian case to make the choice.

For me the whole Obsidian case thing was a huge gamble from Day 1, one I wouldn’t touch for $15 (I’m not interested in Aimee and if I was I could have dropped the 50K Credits for her with no problem, so it really would have been $15 just for the case… :confused: ).

Of course we’d like if the rules change, but I think this is more of a “what should have been”. I for one agree with it

Just let people rage/ rant / complain, and move on with your life, simple stuff really :slight_smile:

playtime/time in squad is a really good setup. if you go by points medics will rule every week, since they are the easiest to get points with.

No worry, Vassili is closing in and only need 2 more % then hes first and then the next time to rage will start with Vassili as the target of the hate which is aimed at proxy at the moment.

Blockig people out because they didn’t cash is a very wrong step.
It’s basically Nexon saying: “You want that shiny card of a merc you want? Well, fuck you because you did not pay us!” And that’s a very, very bad thing to do.
But I agree, it shoud’ve been restricted in some way. Like my thought of make mercs who cost less count less in the same was Aura and Skyhammer didn’t count at all because they don’t cost at all.

No its not a good set up AT ALL. Because by the nature of the game you always need an engineer in your squad, Proxy is only 30k and is the easiest engi to pickup making it real rigged for her. Anyway SD probably planned and had only done the culprit card for her and did all this false event shit to try to say “hey look we do new things” while everything was rigged from the beginning

For the culprit card its a bad thing yes.

But for the obsidian having people who didnt paid influence the result of all the one who paid is a wrong Step. Its saying to all the fidelized players who supported the game, fuck you just give me your money and the plebs will decide of what you get.
This event is the point of no return for me, Ive always been more than glad to support the game by buying stuff but now Im probably never gonna give them one more cent.
