So I gave in, i decided to pay the $7 for the demo, whatever.
so I pay my money, the beta opens up, i select my system specs…and it tells me i don’t meet the requirements…
WTF?!?

i think they’re a little more careful than that
i checked their support FAQs, and it said if you enter the ‘wrong’ system specs, tough shit. there’s nothing you can do.
well holy hell, that worked.
i did ‘clear private data’ on firefox and it worked.
wow…
So you couldn’t wait 1 1/2 more days till the free ones out then complain when you couldn’t fill out a form correctly?

Common condition in the summer of 2007. Makes people act fast, sometimes perhaps too fast. It is caused by strong desire to play the most awesome game on the planet. I suffer from it too.
yeah, i know all about that.
especially when i have no job, and am only taking one summer school class.
hehe, ET rocks.
About the cookies: Seems a lot of players have had the exact problem:

Ive not got a key yet and found that screen
prob wont work for you now (i cant go back to it, not that i need to) click the “Do i qualify? Find out here” link
Clearing your cookie cache actually allows you to go back. It makes the whole “hiu can only enter zis onze!” line a little m00t, although most end-users fall for it.
yeah, I saw the “fix” for it. But there’s no need for me to do so, so im not clearing my cookies meaning i have to relog into every other site for that
just delete the file planet one infact if you look around you should be able to find the cookie that holds that into in it and you can just delete it
