I’m sorry, maybe I’m not understanding what you’re referring to. The LMG in the Fault Line videos doesn’t look THAT weird. A little thin, maybe, but that’s just because you can’t see the ammo box near as I can tell. Plus the M4 looks a little thin as well. Am I missing something?
Oh jeez..... Brink preview in XBW360
I LOVE Harvest Day Conquest. You and a buddy or two, hop on a Cav and grenade-launch everything at full-speed. Every once in a while I’ll end up playing against a tank driver that is a good shot, but otherwise, you get to run over wookies with abandon.
You seemed to have no problem giving a vague “7-8” (we’ll settle on 7.5) score.
It’s possible that Harvest day is really good in Conquest. I mostly play Rush or SqDM, because my only BC2 buddy is currently (well, not CURRENTLY, since PSN is down) but currently playing a lot of Killzone. When he’s not watching Netflix, which he is watching all the time.
Brink is a game that started being developed because there was a purpose, fulfilling a gap in FPS market by satisfying the needs of a target customers/buyers.
Since it’s the 3rd major release for Splash Damage and taking into consideration they deliver quality products with high standards for the average FPS player.
It’s NONSENSE doing a PREVIEW of such new IP (BRINK) and rating it with a low score, obviously that magazine either are fan boys of a specific game or they got paid by some1 to try burn Splash Damage fame.
A pre view is like going down to a blockbuster picking to film from what it says on the back… but what if I’ve got some knowledge about producers, directors, actors, writers and the film theme. It sure will increase greatly the quality of the film I’m picking up. Why would I take a bad film knowing it has epic team behind it?
So it’s stupidity to rate something low when it actually has high chance of becoming an AAA tittle despite being new Intellectual Property due to the fact the development team behind it has proven success on their previous releases.
I highly doubt Splash Damage is trying to scam us with a b-rated tittle . . .
Not everyone will like Brink. If you are looking for a COD-like game, you probably won’t like Brink.
I can’t count the number of times a game I enjoyed got “bad” reviews, really. I’ve long since stopped paying attention to them, since it seems what I feel is good gameplay and what many reviewers feel is good gameplay are completely different.
Does anybody know if ign and the like review the game a few days before it is released?
