Just wondering if the fontcolor can be changed. On the light-grey msg’s the black txt is fine, but on the dark-grey… my eyes are hurting like hell trying to read them…
IMHO white txt would be better, or better not just the silver board-style in your profile, but several.
Soz if this doesn’t belong here, it’s just that i read here alot, and this is getting annoying.
You just need to turn up r_gamma and r_overbrightbits in your browser 
Seriously though, on my setup the message text has plenty of contrast for me.
I find it harder to read these forums at work than I do at home as it happens, probably due to lighting and the poorer quality monitor I have here at work.
At least give us a choice by adding another theme and allowing people to choose in their profile.
In the forum overview the font is white, and i find it much easier to read. Why not keep it uniformed and als o put white txt in the thread…
Thats a matter of opinion… though why is 1 line in ur sig white??? makes it stand out more doesn’t it 
I know it’s a link… and links are white…
Maybe you can get SD to create/add a new style which you can select in your profile settings. Or create a new one yourself (with the SD colors) and send it to the forum admin, maybe he will install it.
This is phpBB there are a million styles available.
I know it’s a personal matter, but more styles give people more options 
keeps everyone happy also…

Well you’re right, it is a matter of personal opinion. I find the lots of white text tends to “run together” and is harder to read (unless on a pitch black background) but the choice whould be nice for those who’d like it.

The thing is the light-greg msg’s read just fine, the darker ones give me problems (and no i don’t have sight problems

Yep it is hard for me to read at work also, the monitor is at it’s brightest and my screen properties are maxed out also - guess I’ll have to justify buying a new monitor to my boss so that I use this forum more easily
You could always just set your browser to ignore the formatting of websites, and even define your own stylesheet. Then all sites would be just how you want…
I think we’re changing the forum theme soon, so we might add some extra themes then.
If there’s a particular colour scheme you want, and you’re able to create a phpBB template for it, AND it loosely fits the current colour scheme… we could probably add it to the available templates if you were to send us it (but don’t quote me on that - I haven’t checked with anyone yet :)).
thx… that would be great. As you can read in post above phpBB has free styles you can download… so why invent the wheel all over again
