Not trying to brag - just letting you know that if your a portable MG42 your a great option for someone that’s a covt ops to satchel. If you don’t agree with me that’s fine by me. I’m still interested in decent servers that’ll enhance someone’s abilties - what’s the ip for Efterlyst/Bio?

Also defending Shrub mod’s status here as a noob server - which I entirely disagree. The key word Noob has been used all too frivolously in terms of multiplay. I think both venues have their ups and downs. I would most likely use ET-pro in a clan match. I would never consider myself a professional player because for me its never paid my bills and my life doesn’t revolve around it. I’ve been in professional activities and I think the term professional is also used all too frivolously. As for tactics…if a portable MG42 is causing our team a lot of havoc - if I’m a covt ops I’ll make my way there to dismantle it. The stats I showed previously are stats of another player that I played with at the time that was racking a lot of satchel kills up in the cave of fuel dump map. People would come up the ladder and he’d take them out. I thought that was pretty funny that no one really caught on after like 15 satchel kills. Were they noobs? In the server I play I’m sure you get a lot of clans and great players and you get a lot of players that don’t know the map yet. Am I a noob because I play on a server like that? I wouldn’t consider myself that - I’ve a great deal of understanding on the game, tactics, multiplay, and teamplay. As a medic I’m sure I can go toe to toe with the upper 20 percent. I enjoy playing a leisure game and that’s all it is for me.

schmeisser,

You idea is a very good one. Many players overlook the concept that atrition is an important tactic. Even if you die relentlessly, you are relentlessly attacking and consuming thier fighting resources, which takes pressure off the Engineers trying to build (or set dyno, whichever the case may be).

In some cases a single player relentlessly attacking a specific route in a map can eventually break down the enemy’s ability to attack there, or at least cause them to react to your ceasless attacks by deciding to go that path to keep you down. This draws troops from other places where they can hold down your engineers and other players, allowing them to find sucess. In many cases, one smart player doing the right thing at the right time can completely turn around a map. I do it myself frequently.

You understand tactics better than most players. If I had a clan, I would want you on it.
