When will there be another chance to get a Obsidian Card?

Probably never. Though there will definitely be other special cards. They just did the Alienware ones, might still be keys for that on Alienware arena.

Despite not having any I hope not. They’d become far less special if people could get them now.

Yeah any time I see an Obsidian Im filled with envy and gawk over it. If more people were able to get again it’d become less special and ruin that feeling. They said in the recent dev stream they’re working on something for beta players like us tho so no worries :smiley:

Sadly, most of the Obsidian cards aren’t that special as they aren’t great loadouts for most mercs :frowning: For example, I have a FEL IX Vassili.

Had a BR-16 on Kira had one good run with it and made the mistake of thinking it wasn’t so bad. After the next round I just keep Dreiss on full time.

Every time I see one I remember my Vassili loadout gathering dust in my inventory, and I get just a little more salty about it. :smiley:

That Arty obsidian is good, first the Dreiss skin is awesome.
Unshakeable is regarded as one of the better augments. More ammopacks means more ammo for everyone which is obviously a good thing. Only augment I would propably change is Chopper since it is pretty useless at normal Arty range, on the other hand if you find yourself in a close distance fight, it does come in handy and the “I kill you oldskool” taunt is well worth it.

Playing Arty is supposed to be difficult difficult :slight_smile:

The game proper trolled me by landing me with the Fragger Obsidian card. All the guns in the game and it lands me with the BR-16 :’(

Idk about you, but i think the br16 is an absolute beast

@PowerReef oh, don’t get me wrong it can be. I’ve had some great games with it. I’m just literally very hit and miss with it. Compared to the other Fragger weapons I see it as the weakest.
I use it every now and then for a change but I’m nowhere near as effective as I could be with the M4 or K121. I miss a lot with the BR-16 when it comes to fighting the smaller more manoeuvrable mercs.

the br-16 is great if you are good at aiming
right now i’m constantly playing with visilli, aggresively, to improve mine. took a break to try out my silver br-16 kira card, and it was headshots for days

All that BR-16 hate…the BR-16 is nuts. It struggles with the current aim punch levels, but it’s still good on everybody except Fragger. He’s too slow and big to pop out and fire a burst or two. It’s a really technical weapon and most people lack the skills to use it well. But when you’re on with it, you can make moving the EV hell for the opposite team. Infinite ammo + 2 round kills + artillery/orbital is brutal.
