Ok im a bit of a n00b when it comes to ET, I have just reinstalled it applied the 1.02 patch.
But when I first played ET when you ran over health or ammo packs you pick it up!
Now that I have played with this patch I have to press ‘F’ to pick up ammo and health? Is this part of the patch?

I have seen that happen alot lately,it seems like this new version has more bugs than the first.
reconnecting is a pain in the ass…arent patches supposed to fix things, not make more problems?

one thing i have notice is that my host a game thing isnt working,it like shuts down et,plus i cant connect to a ip through the connect to ip link botton thing,thats always gay,so i just do /connect ip
To get host game to work, you probably have to remove some .pk3 files. Be sure to keep
mp_bin.pk3
pak0.pk3
pak1.pk3
You can safely delete campaign .pk3s, since they will be redownloaded quickly, and server admins tend to change them often anyway. For maps, I suggest you just move them to another directory.
