sometimes when i get lvl 4 light weapons i DONT get the dual pistols.
happens even at major rank.
i mostly play as medic and sometimes lvl 4 on another stat ie battle sense gives me the dual pistols
sometimes i get them when i reach major
but as i said sometimes i DONT never ever get them whatever i do
anyone else noticed this?
any suggestions/ideas?

I’ve noticed this too. When I max out light weapons, if I stay the same class of character, I wont have them when I respawn. Just one pistol. I have to change class to get them when I spawn, get killed, go back to the class I was playing and I’ll have them. So just change classes for a life, then go back. They’ll be there.
One bug I have noticed, I have made Brig Gen, and at the beginning of the next map I am a colonel again.
This happened to me the other night (I was playing as an allied engineer on Oasis).
I also notice that sometimes as an engineer it won’t let me use grenades even though I have a garand and am pushing the correct button. However this only happens when there’s four or five other engineers. Could there be a limit to how many people on each team get akimbo pistols, grenades for the garand, etc? The round it didn’t let me have akimbo pistols, one of my teammates had leveled up before me and did have them.
Go to the limbo menu, then hit OK, after you get L4 light weapons. Next time you spawn, you’ll have them. They become the default sidearm after you get them, but your loadout doesn’t change until you open the limbo menu. You don’t have to actually select them from the menu though. Just going into the menu changes you to the new default loadout, with the akimbos.
I’m thinking they did it this way so ppl would have a choice.
Some folks might not like using the dual pistols, so the way that it is now, you have to go select them if you want them. (maybe???)

I’ve notice this on some servers but not all. It must be a setting that the servers set.

lol, definetly a blast from the past.
There may still be a bug either with shrub or bani, becuase 80% of the time I play I’ll get my dual pistols… the rest of the time I still won’t… kind of annoying to have to go to the limbo menu cause I always forget about it. Oh well.
The bug I (along with many others I know) keep hitting is, I’ll get dual pistols properly when I hit level 4, but it resets back to single on the next map. I have to double-check it on each map change.
This may be an ETPro-specific issue.
