Noob question about spawntimes

:banghead: Ok,Ok So how do you edit the spwn times within maps? There’s a command posted on wolfdehn.net:
//seta g_userAxisRespawnTime XX
//seta g_userAlliedRespawnTime XX
but it does not seem to work for more than one map. Do maps have different preset spawntimes? Do you have to somehow edit them in the rotation config rather than the server.cfg? Please help. Thank you in advance.

I’m not sure what the heck those variables you listed will do. I know the variables g_redlimbotime/bluelimbotime tell the server how long to wait between spawn waves. When the game actually begins, the first wave is offset by a random amount of time so mortar soldiers and fieldops can’t completely shut down a map without doing their recon first. I don’t think there’s a way to fiddle with the generation of that offset.

As for map-individualized spawn times, one good way to do it might be ETpro, which allows you to create configs for each map in your rotation which are executed whenever the map loads. So, for example, if you wanted battery to have a 10-second allied spawn time, you could create “mapdefault_battery.cfg” and put in G_bluelimbotime = 10 (or was it 10000?).
