non-ET related question about GP32's

Well, seeing as I know alot of you are pretty tech savvy I thought I’d ask for some opinions. It’s my birfday soon and I was looking to either get a linker flash card for my GBA (I want to see what the emu’s are like) or maybe a GP32.

TBH, looking at the specs of the GP32 and what it can do I’m dead interested. It has a fair few emulators NES, SNES, PCENGINE, Foon, Frodo etc…), can replay mp3 as standard and also avi and mpeg - I think it has a hard disk capability as well.

http://www.gbax.com/new/gp32.html is what I’ve read so far.

Has anyone got one of these babies? £138 seems like the right price imo and I’d rather have something that can emulate the games of my youth as well as everything else - this thing is almost capable of running quake (5 fps at the mo so I’m told) - maybe a 2D port of ET for WiFi enabled GP32’s is in order? lmao heh.

A friend of mine has that thing, he is constantly ranting about it  He’s in China atm though, so I cant be of any help.

Really just depends what you use most. Would you rather spend all day playing through several GBA games or going back and forth transferring different games and emulators when you wish to play something else… I for one have been looking at the flash cards for the GBA for the past year but never got round to reordering it after I cancelled one order. Is there no sites or forums on this? I know enough emulation sites but none for specific emu consoles.
