Will the pre-order kits that are now available elsewhere become available in Aus.? If so, how long before they come available?
Also, I noticed that the Gamestop store locater on there website is shared with EB Games. As Gamestop has no stores in Perth, will it be possible for Gamestop to sell the pre-order kits through EB Games? (Now THAT’s wishful thinking!)

Alas, there aren’t decisions we get to make, or have any say in, or even get to hear about. Our publisher, the lovely Activision, does all the marketin’ and distributin’. We just make the thing.
Ive have word from Activision Australia they are making an announcement about pre-ordering ETQW in Australia Next week.

You could always ask Activision, they’re the ones that are shipping the game. I kinda think this is the wrong forum, although I do understand being left out 
If you in Australia think you are left out, then remember that atleast you usually get the things after a while. In mainland asia we get table-scraps of the promotions, if anything.

When opening the mail today at PALGN HQ it was hard not to pause for a second, as we slowly opened the package from Activision, there was the box for Enemy Territory: Quake Wars sitting in the bubblewrapped envelope. Unfortunately it wasn’t the game but details on the Australian preorder campaign, which will come with a few goodies.
Preorders for Enemy Territory will begin on April the 4th at EB Games and GAME. By reserving a copy of the game you’ll be able to secure your prefered username, you’ll also receive two collector’s cards. Each retail location will also have one exclusive poster to give out to a lucky customer who preorders the game.
Activision has confimed that there will only be a “few thousand” preorder packs available for Australia, so if you’re really keen on the game then we suggest you hop, skip and jump to GAME or EB Games from April the 4th.

Yeah I got the press release this morning just before I headed to work I can confirm what’s posted above is correct.

Been doing the ring around to some EB Games stores earlier this morning since it’s the date mentioned above as the release date for pre-order packs. None of them have the packs in yet for whatever reason. (I’ll get you, person who’s holding them up. shakes fist)
Anyway, the guys on the phone are suggesting pre-ordering the pre-order packs!!! Things are starting to get very scary!
My EB had 12 very Very Large boxes, they said it would take them almost 24 hours to unpack them and to come back tomorrow and promised no matter then number of the packs that they would if there was any they would hold me one.
I let you know tomorrow how it goes.
