no players??? xbox 360

(Xenothon) #1

re-visited this game over the last 2 days, got the dlc, started playing a couple of games, with only 3 others, who soon quit, and there is still no bloody players on any games for the 360! im done with this.

(RandyNinja) #2

everytime i have played im in a full game but thats only in standard matchmaking and with nobody talking you might aswell be playing with bots anyway

(Zekariah) #3

FR myself, ‘wolfnemesis75’, ‘nephandys’, ‘Iezza’, ‘its al about security’ and ‘SinDonor’.

Then check OUR friends and see who else plays Brink. There actually is quite a big community of 360 players, its just the poor matchmaking system it would seem.

We are on A LOT and there’s always a few friends of mine playing it, whatever timezone.

(yuval152) #4

yesterday i found full servers, cant see a problem.

(wolfnemesis75) #5

Do you have My RANK selected instead of My Rank or Higher? Also, what level are you? And, are you playing in Freeplay Standard mode or something else?

(iezza) #6

its not iezza!

its:

iezzabei

He already said he’s done with this.

Our group get plenty of full games at this point, the problem is everyone on the other team always quits with in a round or two regardless of how many people are on the other team. Apparently people can’t handle losing.

We always wind up playing against ourselves eventually.

That’s because of all the nasty things you say about their moms. I’d quit too. Or go on the other team and get you for it. When I did, Solarcrest would not leave me alone with his UAV toys. I can’t stand hornets. Allergic. Somebody needs to take away his toys.

Sorry dude, just giving out forum names.

Its up to them to chase down your GT, and it’s your choice to give it out.

Don’t write him off just yet…

Have you played Bad Company 2? 90% of time nobody is talking, seeing as you can only communicate with your squad. Personally, I think the no public VOIP is a godsend. I generally don’t like the general public - making it so I don’t have to listen to them by default, is wonderful. (Wish there was an option for this in real life.)

I vastly prefer type chat (PC) over voice chat.

I also think the no public VOIP is a godsend too. Xbox live had more people with mics before the Party dashboard update round 2008. Most live games people are in Parties now. Which leaves the anti social people outside with nothing good to say. Glad Brink is trying to negate some of that garbage. Once you make a single friend in Brink, the doors are open.

(kronus126) #14

If you wanna give it another try OP hit me up, Ive been a little sporadic lately but I try and play every chance I get. I don’t have a mic right now but I should be getting one by the end of the week. The GT is in the sig.

I played 15 or so games last night, had humans in most matches. Problem is that we would destroy the other team so badly that they’d rage quit and then we’d have an empty game at the start of the next round. Then, it would fill up, we’d have another full game, we dominate, then they all quit again.

Kind of annoying, but when the mid-AI bots are playing better than your human opponents, you kind of don’t notice.

(kronus126) #16

Its not always a rage quit. You gotta remember that they might be leveling up as well, I know I have very specific builds that I like to play with but if my team is heavy of one type (usually medics and/or engies) then I will quit and get another character, then rejoin the same game.

(RandyNinja) #17

i wouldnt say it was a godsend at all. its a team based game communication is key

(GameScrub) #18

I have been playing full games but I have noticed that when the other side leaves no one wants to switch sides. I change sides to even odds, but if no one is willing to do it, then it becomes a waiting for other players bs.

Great game though. Loving my mini UAV haha

(SinDonor) #19

True, some guys might be leaving to level their character, but when the entire team leaves at the end of a match, I would say many of them are quitting.

It’s no fun getting your butt stomped by a group of players who’ve been playing this game from Day 1 and all work together.

No voip is terrible. Just because horse and wolf like it doesn’t mean squat. Hopefully they change that at some point.

Horse and wolf, other games also have this revolutionary feature called mute if u don’t want to hear certain players. No voip by default is garbage. No excuse.
