no autoreload of scoped garand

I don’t think it’s a bug, I think it’s a feature. It kind of works. When staring down the scope you wouldn’t see the clip was empty, so you wouldn’t automatically reload. Trains you to watch your ammo better too, which is good on all weapons.

you clearly hear the "ping!’ of the empty clip though. and it autoreloads in non-scoped mode. doesnt the scoped fg42 autoreload?

the wolf scoped mauser would autoreload.

this seems to me to be a bug.

To had realism they have made it so you have to stop scoping to put the new clip in as you would not be able to see where to put the clip in zoom mode, when not zoomed it the gun does autoreload

if you manually hit “r” to reload while scoped, it automatically zooms you out to reload. try it.

so “realism” isnt a valid argument here because it unscopes you anyway when you manually hit reload while scoped. so why not make the auto-reload work consistently like every other single weapon in the game?

why have to hit R manually while scoped, but not while unscoped? makes no sense to me.

Yea there is no reason for the soldier not to know when to reload, no reason not to do it automatically.
