Kinonez21 have you ever been to Venice?
The area where it is famous is pretty much like a maze. I would look at google maps and zoom in an area that are famous. Going by memory there are about six to eight good places for a basic maps that highlight the city. Adding barriers junk etc if area it to large.

I wandered down Cuba mall in Wellington around bucket fountain and looked at it as a rad map, it was really narrow and areas were covered partially with a few blind spots. Having actual resources and feel of place helps design even more.
Just saw where you from Vienna (have the third man film music and maybe the sewer ;p )and Salzburg are also good as well, wanna go back.

Ciakgb which maps do you want me to do all of them? If so, which one should I start with?

No, I have never been to Venice before, this map, is just my idea of a flooded map, it does not represent Venice, just thought it’s the city that best represents this concept.

Uu! Uu! Mr Kotter! Mr Kotter! (sorry, bad reference to an old TV show)

I really want to have an electronic copy of all the maps. OK, actually I really want to have a game feature to show Line of Sight (LOS) from different positions in the game (see thread: http://forums.warchest.com/showthread.php/35783-Request-for-Line-of-Sight-Aide), but if I have an accurate map, I can reference it while playing to verify LOS.

I want more than a picture because if I decided to be ambitious, I might write some software that calculates/shows LOS. I want someone else to provide the data because I’m a lazy chump.

I thought it would be cool to have large, printable maps to do some planning on, a ruler would give you line of sight.

If you prioritizing, kin, I think EVERYONE needs to do some planning on construction:)

Oh and Jerry, “Up your nose with a rubber hose!!!”

Ok, so here is the outline for Construction, I understand it can be a little confusing, since some tiles have offer more than one cover, or their is cover in the occupy zone and not in the outline, so I’ll do my best trying to explain it.

Dark Green - Represents objects (such a bus) you can not step on these tiles, and they provide green cover all around them

Light Green - Represents green cover that you can step on. Note (11,7) (12,7) (13,5) (14,5) are light green tiles as well.

Yellow - Represents Cover that you can step on. Note you can always step on Yellow Tiles, this is not 360* degrees as Dark Green, it’s either vertical or horizontal but not both.

Red - Represents objects which provide Red Cover all around them. Note you can never step on Red Tiles

Black - Represents tiles that can on be stepped on nor provide cover

Grey - Occupy zone

Example, (12,9 (13,3) have red cover in front and yellow on the side.

If you still have any doubts or I made any mistakes feel free to tell me,

Great job kin, back to the drawing board for me!

Thnks, any other specific map or should I do them in order?

I started this as well; took a slightly different approach to represent cover. I’m sure there are some inaccuracies, but here’s an example:
