(Kendle) #1

The UK / European ET community site www.etnation.co.uk has undergone some changes. It is now part of a larger set of community websites called GamersNation. Here’s the full announcement from the GamersNation management team…

It’s our great pleasure and privilege to announce the release of the new GamersNation websites. This release marks a milestone in the GamersNation websites you´ve seen until now and the beginning of a complete new series of websites.

Some of the many changes you will experience on these new websites:-

[ul]
[li]Only one registration per user is necessary to experience all our websites. (If you have registered before on either BF2Nation.co.uk or ETNation.co.uk you will able to use your old login and password)
[/li]
[li]GamersNation is supported by several dedicated game websites, which you will able to access by the main menu or by using on of the following urls:-
[/li]
[li]Battlefield 2: http://www.bf2nation.co.uk
[/li][li]Call of Duty 2: http://www.cod2nation.co.uk
[/li][li]Day of Defeat:Source: http://www.dodsnation.co.uk
[/li][li]Enemy Territory: http://www.etnation.co.uk
[/li][li]Enemy Territory: Quake Wars: http://www.etqwnation.co.uk
[/li][li]F.E.A.R.: http://www.fearnation.co.uk
[/li][li]Quake 4: http://www.q4nation.co.uk or http://www.quakenation.co.uk
[/li]
[li]Every dedicated website comes along with its own game server. ~ To see the status of our game servers look at this page: Game Server Status (we regret we cant show the F.E.A.R. server status yet!)
[/li]
[li]Files and all other game related downloads will be available at www.filenation.co.uk
[/li][/ul]
One of the future developments for GamersNation is release of its own monthly GamersNation e-magazine. Currently we´re working on the first issue, which will be released in February 2006. We´ll send out the first copy to all our members, so you can experience the magazine.

Besides the release of the e-magazine, GamersNation will organize leagues and cups for all the games that are supported by GamersNation. You can find further information on the GamersNation leagues and cups at http://www.leaguenation.co.uk

As you can see we will continue support ET via www.etnation.co.uk but we’re also looking forward to ET:QW via www.etqwnation.co.uk and will have a Multiplay sponsored ET:QW public server upon it’s release.

How utterly confused was i. Tried to register and it said DarkangelUK has already been taken… was severely miffed. So thought “hmmm ill try and log in”, seems i registered on there back in 2004  Looks nice, i always like networked sites that can band a whole load of interest for all fps games instead of trying to dedicate to a single game. Think ill get posting on there now

Yep, etnation has been going since Sept '04 and bf2nation since BF2 was released. This site merges them both so anyone registered on either already has an account. We’ve just extended support to other games and haxor’ed the webby software to make it a bit more unique.
