New trailer...
Well …it’s very well done !
Hoping words will come an reality …I’ll still keep looking, and waiting
and Was nice to see many SD staff relaxed … with a Beer:cool:
What a load of rubbish. How can the community contribute when SDK tools aren’t even on the radar?
No way to test stuff on localhost or a LAN. No SDK. I don’t really agree with many of the other points either, but this was the most glaring one imo.
Omg, seen a lot of great “new”(at least for me) things in the trailer; will definitely re-install that game this evening.
PS: It’s a couple weeks now, since I’ve lastly played DB, but there’s so much new stuff in there that I didn’t noticed the last time. There must’ve been a major update in the meantime. Looking forward to see that stuff working in first person.
Glad to see that most of you are enjoying the video :).
You can expect to see more press coverage going online this afternoon. Looking forward to hearing what you think :).
@stealth6: The community has contributed a significant amount to the development of the game through the feedback and discussion that takes place on this forum. While that may not be as clearly obvious as someone building a map, the feedback that we receive certainly has a significant impact on how the game develops.
Well in the interview they say the community evolved it on their own and that’s something you want to see happen for DirtyBomb. Without an SDK how do you propose we do that? Submitting feedback is great, but requires SD to act upon it.
Also you’re right that it’s not clear whether our feedback has made any difference at all. Changes that look like they were influenced by our feedback could just be coincidence.
I think there was a lot more -at least from my perspective- ; the audio stuff alone was hilarious, many new one-liners(at least many I’ve never heard), also the virtual fences around objective areas, the “finger-countdown” one of the mercs did in Underground, the hacking device(maybe I haven’t seen it, because I wasn’t playng the class) and many things that just looked a bit differently; but maybe I’m just suffering from the “trailer syndrome”, that always makes movies and games look so much cooler, than they actually are. I’ll see this evening
RR2DO2 confirmed a focus on getting more movement into the game again, looking forward to seeing what else gets added.

Was this the first pub and interview they had? I am assuming by the 6 or 7 interview they get a little sloppy haha
