If you look at ET now, not having L3 lights (30% spray reduction) or L3 b. sense (higher hp) when you first join up on a server will put you at a disadvantage relative to others who do have those abilities. That said, however, it’s not a game changing, monumental issue of imbalance because of it - you can still kill just fine without 'em, and in 20 mins have both of them skilled up, no problem. I don’t anticipate these deployables to be enormous killing machines that players with less XP can’t deal with.
That’s what I meant. I know there are already unbalanced rewards in W:ET, but those are minor imho. But to be honest I never really liked ET’s XP system anyway. To bad it is being ported.
Actually I find this quite ironic, systems that reward good players with features that make them even more powerful are the most popular, despite being unbalancing.
