a nice .exe file would be great. 
and please add an entity where the mapper can set an own goal-model. so it can fit to the style of his map.
like key: goalmodel and value: models/mapbojects/goalmodels/bla.md3 ( .ase would even better if its possible)
Next version will have a higher professional touch.Mod is still young. I’m working on a new goal model, I’m no expert on that kind of things but I’m quite pleased with the result so far.

Just because it was an acceptable practise on another game doesn’t mean it should be acceptable here. I’m not sure you’ve realized this but enemy territory is not unreal tournament…

True that, but why should the enemy be able to shoot at me just because I have the ball and unable to shoot? I say this tactic (throwing the ball to the enemy then fragging him) should still be valid.
Also it may be also a good idea to make the person who’s holding the ball to have a little regenerative bonus just in case he does get shot at.

Yes good idea, BR also has this feature.
Oh and btw, there was a similar mod for UT before bombing run, they were quite upset when the official bombing run came out. 
i’ve testet yesterday again…the footy map works, but i have some little questions.
perhabs we can meet todays evenig in the irc.

i think it would be great if you just offer something like an pk3 dummy, with an small map file and all needed files.
so everyone has a possibility to rework his map, wothout having any moding knowledge.

the german server schubi has mentioned some post before, has some problems with linux, so atm there is no footy file available, but i thin if you have some time today, i can realize it todays evening/night.
additionnal idea:
would be great if we can merge some of the nw ideas together to one nice fun mod, otherwise, their will be 100 of custom little mods, and no one has the change to establish…
my ideas:
- poison needle for medic… (nullskillz something for you, hehe)
- kick the enemy like in the shrub mod
question: is it possbile to realise that the ball reacts on weapons /shots?
Hi fidel I am making a map to this mod too… I had similiar problems, but when I upgrated (downloaded the latest build) it started to work.
the key add the map into the host game section is to create .arena file with line:
type “wolfpb”
but I guess you know that…
I think we should call all powerball maps as pb_mapname.
Setting a quick few guidelines now WILL make a great effect later. Say having the prefix pb_ before all maps, it means you can quickly notice pb maps from directorys, ftps, servers, ase/gs. Also having an idea of rec’d team sizes and map sizes.
