Thanks for the tips. One more question. Can I see, somehow, if it is possible to run a map with in campaign? This information is usually not in the readme.txt file which is delivered with the maps.
you should be able to run any map within a campaign. Any map that doesnt work would be broken. What you need to watch for is that the actual map name is occasionally different than the .pk3 file name (the actual map name is the filename of the .bsp file within the pk3, just open it with winzip or whatever); and also a few maps dont like being the first map in a campaign.
there’s plenty of webpages giving guidance on custom campaigns, that link being one and linking to another couple.

It starts with Battery and then the breakout_et_b2 loads, but it does not move over to goldrush when breakout_et_b2 has finished. Strange ( the .bsp name is the same as the .pk3 ). I will have to look a litte bit deeper in to this over the weekend.

Btw looking over your campaign again, I’m sure the rommel_final_1107 bsp is only called rommel_final, maybe that is the problem with your campaign script
Just change rommel_final_1107 to rommel_final and it should work ok
You were right about the rommel_final_1107 map, the bsp file is just called rommel_final, but it did not fix the problem :banghead:
Is it correct that it is only possible to have 10 maps in a campaign?
I think 10 is the maximum. I’ve never tried any more than that to be honest, but I’m fairly sure the server won’t run the campaign if there are more than 10 maps in the campaign script.
How many pk3 files / maps do you have on your server, in etmain?
10 is the maximum, ET2.60 just improved the way it handles you trying anything bigger.
If you use some mod with persistent XP save you can tie XP accross multiple campaigns, or even just make an Objective mode rotation and have it reset XP where desired. Latter suggestion probably not great as many players looking for a game of Campaign will just filter out everything else. With ETPro you’re stuck.

When you make the new pk3, have you renamed it or are you still using the same name. I vaguely remember having problems where the server file was new but the client file was still looking in the old file? Try renaming the .campaign file and call the new pk3 file something else. It’s worth a try at least.

I just removed the breakout_et_b2 map, couldn’t get it to work.

DG has lots of good ones in his list, I would highly recommend Reactor or Special Delivery - Reactor being my personal favourite of those 2!
