[New map] Fragmaze

This map is created by Wezelkrozum in association with the Elite Indian Warriors clan. Visit their site here: www.eiwclan.co.nr

The objective is to collect all the 10 goldbars in the game. In the beginning they are located in the center of the map. When your enemy has captured a goldbar you can re-capture it from their truck.

it’s quite hard to apply it as seamless to other textures…

I know. But you’ll need to apply it if you want low-spec players playing your map.

The HD version is conversed :wink:

i only wanted to say that there already is a map called fragmaze. better rename it to prevent nameclashes.

I renamed the pk3 to fragmaze_eiw. More I can’t do.:rolleyes:

Tsted the map local in etmain and figured out two bugs:

  1. Was playing as axis and after capturing two goldboxes the spot was empty. Don’t know if the 3rd goldbox is located somewhere else.

  2. You forgot to clip two boxes (same place on the opposite site)

i know that most of the people here think im a troll, but believe me, if i say something, it is the absolutely truth. its an objective truth, people sometimes cant judge that.

Same with me, I’m not sure what you mean by using less tris : is it the foliage in the front or the maze at the background ?

I think it’s the arch area but I don’t get what is in it’s place.

It’s shown red and blue on the screen.
The part with the arch is one brush/box/however (marked red), because he’s using a texture with transparency for it.
The part under the arch to close the hole is marked blue.

No, man. You’re not a troll. We need you to make our maps/models and such perfect:wink:
I know there is an other Fragmaze, but I can’t change the name now.

  3. Argh… shit. Forget that one. Should be fixed within 5 minutes:mad:

  4. That’s gonna take some more time. Will update that tomorrow morning. (don’t post the news before I’ve updated it:) )

That’s true. Not something special. Just, to let you know how to improve structure:)

So, tomorrow morning I’ll update the new pack with the same name. And for now I’ve only fixed the goldbars issue.

I really hate to tell ya this but this map will never be popular because of the FPS issues.

If FPS is bad with just one person i can only imagine how bad it is with several players.

I like the design and the look of the map, it is just the FPS issue and i can not see it being resolved unless you completely change the bushes texture to not see through and make them structural.

The FPS is very bad even with low settings in the current state of the map.

I don’t mean to be so critical but believe me this is constructive criticism meant to help you with some feedback that will help make a successful map.

The only other thing that could help with FPS is fog but you probably wouldn’t want to do that by the looks of the map (being a bright day spring/summer type map).
