new DLC announcement makes me respect SD even less

So to appease everyone after a horrible launch you offered this dlc for free, with maps, items, perks, level cap upgrade, weapon attachments etc

Only after the horrible launch this became free to us? This game is pretty barebones and imbalanced, it’s like half a game to begin with and you were going to sell us the rest of it piece by piece or what?

Yes it’s a lot of stuff, but it shouldn’t even have been considered DLC to begin with. Be honest it’s just a bunch of stuff that wasn’t ready for your rushed launch, am I correct?

All I care about is being able to play the game. DLC is no good if there aren’t enough players to enjoy it with.

If there is only you and maybe 1-2 others in a match, how fun is it all in all? Sure, it’s fine, but you’re not happy with it

Hopefully this DLC and the update will bring more blood to the field

Imagine if there were 100 servers on your list.

1 of them has 9 players in it. On that server 7 are on one side, 2 on the other.
1 of them has 3 players in it.
98 are empty.

This was my experience with Brink tonight (a Friday evening) on ps3.

Would you really be championing the game so much if this were your experience too?

you whine when new maps are announced in DLC
you whine about it being free

i think if SD paid you to try the game it still wouldn’t shut you up.

Jesus there is no pleasing some people, they had a shoddy release who cares! The game runs fantastically now and they are giving us free DLC and you don’t see many companies do that these days! I cannot believe you people come on here and still just whine when obviously SD are updating the game as often as is possible and are even listening to the community with stuff like raising the level limit.

The game is laggy in both engine and online, and it’s /impossible/ to find a game with human players.

I know it’s frustrating to read it over and over, but it’s even more frustrating to have a game that’s as good as Brink and not even be able to play a single decent match at peak time.

We’re venting our frustration, please read my signature for a simple solution if you want rid of it.
