I totally thought that he was going to announce the full release of Dirty Bomb. Haha. Still great news though. I hope he really meant it when he said that they were growing their team and striving to release more content and stuff. (better words than stuff I know…)
I for one hope that this truly improves Dirty Bomb in the long run. I have now been taking a break from Dirty Bomb for the last 7 or 8 months and have only just hopped back on in the past week. I still love this game. It is still one of the best games I have ever played. I really hope it keeps going for a good long while.

These forums aren’t being shut down. They’ll be migrated with our new ones.
@stayfreshshoe What will happen with the current moderation team ? Will we still be in charge ?
Anyway. Great news. Hopefully we will swim in new content later on.

We’ll be doing a review of mods, but more than likely we’ll keep you all on-board, and possibly recruit a couple more.

With that title i expected something like a release date for dockyard or a update for the crafting system… its still good news, but i was a little dissapointed none the less.

Just because Splash Damage is taking over Nexon’s role doesn’t mean Nexon should be shat on.
I don’t know where to start… I was being a huge fan of Dirty Bomb since I started to play. It
Was June 2015. I still remember the time that I
give up on every other games such as League of Legend ( I play this game since season 2),
just because I realized Dirty Bomb is more fun and a game that has a lot of potential. I
believed this is the place where I think I should stay. Like start to take this seriously, not just
“oh, I play this game for a week, and bye bye”
I met many good players in this game. Some of them you might know, some of them you
might not, but those players have two things in common, they all love dirty bomb and they
all think this game has a huge potential. Nonetheless, most of them left the game. Why ?
Because of the slow developing speed. I haven’t give up on game when they already did.
Let’s say that 10 is max for believing in game. They all had 3, but I still had 10.
However, after months of disappointment, I started losing faith. I started to play less and
less. At certain point, I stopped. It was 10 out of 10 before, but when I stopped, it became 5
out of 10. I started to questioning SD in the forum (You might probably seen some of my
threads before).
I stopped playing, but I still pay attention to the forum, reddit, and sometimes twitter. My
faith keep losing because I haven’t seen any real progress done (Stop talking about MOFO or
summer updates, those updates should have already been done long ago). I though I might
just well leave the game and move on. It is a feeling like you though he is a real best friend,
but you suddenly discovered that he was actually fooling you for years.
But there we are, a news that tells me SD can finally take fully control of the game, and to
actually treading it so serious that will have much more faster developing speed. I think I will
maintain current faith level and wait to see if there will actually be something that will gain
my faith for SD and Dirty Bomb back.
Hope the future of SD and Dirty Bomb will be much more brighter than the future of old SD
and Dirty Bomb
