I was hoping Phoenix Obsidian would reveal more of his face (and probably hair), but instead you’ve made it look very generic, AAA-like and tasteless

Eerrrr is this skin real ?
It doesn’t even feel in line with other Obsidian skin.
The mechanic leg is the only part i find great. The rest and the color is meh

1- yes i am buying it, but dissapointed with his rain poncho i was hoping for that to be changed to something else.
2-his helmet is too master chief and not medical looking.

And finaly when the hell am i gonna get a friggin nader aimee or sparx mesh change obsidian.

I’m not a fan of this honestly. He’s carved a watermelon and put it on his head and attached a gas mask to it. His doctor’s medic mask thing made sense for his character, but why the gask mask? His costume colour is basically the bronze weapon skin and his gun is more green and a bright yellow. None of this works to my aesthetic taste. This is probably the first obsidian merc I wouldn’t even consider buying, not even for £1 :neutral:

But it’s okay I don’t play phoenix, just please make sawbones’ obsidian looks less generic and maintain his characters.

@stayfreshshoe can you guyz please push the pheonix obsidian back and redo him none of us well majority of us seem to not like the new skin so far

Doubt it would happen cause then the people who like this might not like the new one. But yea it’s seems a bit too ‘generic’ to me.

Imagine this right: if he had a white colour scheme like the doctors lab coats or something with red hightlights / accents to go with the white and red ambulance logo style. Change the poncho to a slick lab coat type thing, I dunno. Remove the watermelon and gas mask, and show a bit of his face maybe. For me, that would be something I would fucking love, but ik others wouldn’t like it as much.

Literally feels like a skin that should just be released for every merc as a new gold variant over an obsidian. I like Pheonix a lot but man that’s a sad obsidian. Just as long as they don’t screw up the Fragger one if they ever do one for him.

Why would you cover more of my favorite characters face and give him the ugliest woodland camo? Like… wtf are you thinking? He’s Spanish, not American.

Give him something that goes with that, or I dunno, just make his futury crap different, just like how proxy has a mechanical eyeball or something, not this… THING you attached to his head. Like, he actually looks UGLY.

By far your best obsidian alternate art to date has to be either the punk arty or the phantom. Probably the Phantom.

This skin is ReV level bad. He looks like he was vommited on by his infant baby.

If nothing else this is at least a first for a merc with 2 Obsidian loadouts released at different times. Though I like the classic one better.

They dont seem to be concerned with the female mercs all them have been male. I dont count the aura ones as there not mesh changes.
