funny you should say that as i recently started working on this map again after not touching it for many months. Will probably look to release a final in january once all the current competitions running the map hace ended so i gather as much feedback as possible.

Got one very small thing.


Right above the cross hair, where the two arches meet, there is a tiny gap.

Also I noticed the same thing in summerpalace. Do you reuse the brushwork?

i would like to espcially thank ifurita for making the command map, signs and doing all the limbo screen goodies.

Normally i would say “all comments and suggestions are welcome” but as this is the final version ill just say “bugger off” instead :stuck_out_tongue:

Although i do reserve the right to make a cathedral_final version in the far future should i deem it necessary but seeing as this took a year already i rather hope not too. Anyway thanks to anyone who likes it, helped with it or runs it on their server.

ahrm. The readme hasn’t been updated since beta 2 :weird:

Anyway, that map has been superb since the first public releases, but for your final version (which I don’t think you need to do), there are a few tiny things in regards to VIS’ing of the tower, spectator clipping at axis spawn and visible caulk brushes. There is also a sign which seems larger than the others.

BTW, what does the thumbs.db file in the levelshots directory do?

Very good!

I like the usage of the 3rd dimension.
The first stage of “Cathedral” feels like “vertical” variation of the first stage of “Radar”.

The thumbs.db is generated by Windows.
One of these files are in each directory that contains images.
Nothing to worry about.

too late now i already had a panic attack and released a new version. :banghead:

sorry to be a pain can people make sure they mirror “cathedral_final” and not “cathedral”
