Iâm idd negative, but iâm freaking worried about all the unfunded hype around this game, be clear with your âhardcoreâ (I hate this name) fanboiz, i smell a dumbed down port, prove me wrong and iâll buy X4 copies at least , even if steam sux
Really bored about non any negative comment about this game, even DA disapointed me on this, a good review is a review with good and bad comments, when everything seems too smooth it tends to be ****e anywayâŚ

Credit where credit is due, the people who played it were pleased, especially people like DAUK are really reassuring.
People just want to see the support of their platform, nothing special about it, the developers said that they making a game for all 3 platforms, but for this moment PC was just used because of its power, and nothing more. The hud , icons, controls , menus, all made for console users, and all presentations was made using controller. So u can call me negative, but Iâm just talking about facts, the game is oriented on console market, and itâs ok, itâs just a way the market works. The thing is â sum developers just fully drop PC support, like Bioshock 2 , no patches and no add-ons for PC at all. So only time will tell, will Brink be a strong PC game or just port from consoles , because I donât see any reason why PC owners must be happy, at this moment.
So your gripes are purely visual because it says âpress X to activateâ instead of âpress Shift to activateâ? They stated already they can shift visual queues on the fly from PC, to Xbox to PS3. Itâs already been said and PROVEN that SD can do PC controls, do you think they suddenly forgot how to do it? Do you want proof that they can? Go play ETQW or W:ET and youâll have proof⌠you seem to have forgotten their last 2 games were 100% PC, yet seem to think they suddenly have no idea how to make a game for PC. The console is the new ground for them, and its the console market that need proof that SD can make a game for them, we already know they can make a game for the PC.
PC users are just set aside like all the studios start to do !

Yes they can make a perfect pc shooter but can they port it to console? And I post it again, ETQW wiki -âXbox 360 and PlayStation 3 reviews for the game were generally much less positive, with IGN giving the 360 version 6.1 and the PlayStation 3 version 5.3, citing game issues and inferior graphics to the PC version as causes for the lower score.â SD said a lot of times â âWe taking a lot of risk with Brinkâ, what does it means? May be reverse to ETQW, the great console FPS , but medium quality PC shooter? U canât make a game(online FPS) that be brilliant on all platforms.
Use your head for once, especially if you consider wiki a viable infromation source: SD never ported ETQW anywhere, external devs did, and did it horribly. Now they bring in Ham, those Killzone people and others specifically to allow themselves simultaneous multiplatform development.
I only care about the controls, I want to see a mouse keyboard movie what itâs interface says doesnât matter.
Multiplatform development of multiplayer FPS game? Iâm actually not believe in such thing, the platforms are to different, and it will takes a tons of money to make each version unique. In all games Iâve seen, the developers just port game from âmain platformâ to other, and optimize it as much as they can, u canât please everyone.
