Me want a look at that map. Why did those guys not take screenshots? Even a screenshot would keep me happy…

I wonder if this map and others that didn’t make it into ET will make it in some way into the new game. I hope they’ll still have African levels in the new game, whoever’s making it.

I need news/screens/lies (yes lie to me!), somethin’ to keep me tickin’ over , ye know?

The last map, Nero Order brings the conflict to an Axis airbase. Scattered in the canyons surrounding the airbase are anti-aircraft guns, which the Allies will have to find and destroy. For each set of guns they destroy, the Allied air assault will be seen flying overhead destroying blockades to let the Allied troops advance further in order to destroy more anti-aircraft guns. The final guns are located inside the airbase. After they’re gone, the Allied attack will finally be able to carpet bomb the airfield and the game will be finished.

Wich game do you mean with “The new game”?
If its RtCW 2 my geuss is No, i think releasing the unfinished maps so someone can finish it is ‘our’ best change of ectually being able to play Nero Order.
When RtCW 2 is out people probably are going to port some RtCW and ET maps to RtCW 2.

It’s a shame we don’t know anything about the map except the anti-aircraft guns and so on, a screenshot would be cool!

But this, and I’m sure most people will have seen this screen before (http://media.pc.ign.com/media/482/482203/img_1627319.html), is from the singler player that was being developed at the time, before they decided to only release the MP, ET. And it’s an Egyptian-type level. I’m sure, whoever is making the new game now (RtCW2), that stuff is still lying around and, if Activision own the rights to it, maybe being developed on now. So I hope those levels can make it into any game. Damn I didn’t want to start another thread musing about RtCW2 lol!

Anyway, I have shed a tear for Nero Order, and I suppose I will go on my weary way now. But to me ET is perfect. A single-player version of ET would be nice, with team-mates etc. But really I would prefer more maps for ET than a new SP game with more zombies and electrified hoovers with faces and arms. But that’s just me.

And (controversial) no bosses! Bosses are bad people!!

‘Wouldnt it be nice’ if SD setup a paypal account and when it hits say £5,000 or 10,000 they will finish Nero and those other maps that were never finished (socks ‘ruins’ one)
Now that would be class. Something they could do on the side as a wee fans project. here quick, here’s my 10 bucks

Maybe Nero Order was the reason there are remnants of a repairable, player-mountable, 4 barrel anti-aircraft gun in the game code?!

While working on my mod, I noticed that in the code there was an aagun weapon that behaved very similar to the mounted mg42. After poking around more, I saw that the code was managing weapon flashes for four barrels. For all I can tell, all we need are the models, sounds, and textures, and this stuff would work. The code appears to be complete.

Our modeler was messing around with a multi part aa gun a while back, its mapped, but would need textures…
