Nerfing the Carb-9, Making a bad game worse

You are exactly right about Brink not being an old school shooter and that the spread is much worse than older SD titles. You are so right! Look at the great result huh? This game is soooooo popular and I see the online community lasting for years!! This has worked wonderfully! I’m as happy as you are. Thank goodness nobody was expecting an SD game to play like older SD games with better movement, tighter spreads and shooting that took actual skill…otherwise this game might not have the thriving online community it does now.

Good job NIDCLXVI! Keep up the great work calling out what makes this game so special and popular with everyone but most especially those SD fans who were looking for a skill less random game with bad spreads and slower movement than games in 1998. Nice job bro!
90% of people who played brink left the game after playing it.

fix’d.

the carb-9 nerf was another choice in the wrong direction. I think that no weapons should be the best, ok, but i also think that a FPS needs weapons that shoot where you aim. Now its just too much random.
True but should the SMGs be those weapons? I’d think assault rifles should be the ones you have to point accurately while SMGs are pretty much spray and pray, not designed for distances where that tactic no longer works.

And to the original poster. Seriously stop crying. There was nothing balanced about the carb.
