NERF ( OP sniper ) revive gun
I’d prefer to leave it as is. And I say that as somebody who rarely plays Sparks but plays against really good Sparks player constantly. It’s not very powerful if you know how to move. Go play Q3 for a few years and you figure out how to make somebody miss with a rail gun pretty damn often and you get a lot less HP in DB

And even without a “no nerf” answer, the poll would not be biased.
Make it deal less damage and give people an actuall chance at gibbing enemies.

Yes. Learning to move correctly is one of the skills you need in Dirty Bomb. Not running in a straight line, jumping off of things constantly when you can, not coming around the corner in typical spots. Things like that is part of the skill ceiling to many games including Dirty Bomb.
My vote depends upon wether or not they remove the instgib from snipers in the next update, because if they do she would make snipers completely obsolete except for the Pdp, which is just lame sauce. As for the reviving, well I personally realise how strong it is but believe that it is fine. If a Sparks is on long range over watch she needs to be taken out just as a normal sniper would.
That being said I just want to reiterate, yeh if they take away snipers instagib then Sparks will become way too broken. Like, Fragger level broken.
keep in mind that Sparks has no need to go ADS and can see and have more FOV and is moving way faster than Vasili
I do. But you should never underestimate the power of instagib. Funnily enough, I have actually played both mercs, and, funnily enough, I do agree that at the moment she is immensely strong. However, she still does not replace the utility of a Sniper able to take people out of the fight, permanently.
id like the sparks revive gun to be nerfed a bit: either by limiting the rof of minimal charge-ups, decreasing teh amount of power available (since recent patches, sparks never runs out of battery), and/or increase the minimum charge-up for revives/lower the revive hp (with getup all revives are full-revives in very short time)
Personally, I think Sparks’s having too much space to be efficient. Revivr is the definite best reviving tool of the game and just as good as semi-autos as a sniping weapons. I’m convinced that Red-Eye is underused because of her. Smoke and IR goggles are a bad trade compared to a revive gun that can revive to full health OR 1 hit to kill on headshot a 120 hp merc with 0.2 s charge. And this will probably be the same with the removal of insta-gib for bolt-action snipers.
Nevertheless, as Amerika mentionned, it’s quite easy to get rid of her if you move properly. And by the way, it’s the same for any sniper. So, that’s a tie on that point from my point of view. To pronounce myself on her power, I’d prefer to wait the removal of insta-gib for now.
My biggest problem remain her reviving capabilities. She forces you to carefully gib, unless you’ll meet an army of full life zombies. And that’s a big problem with all the mercs who have none to poor explosive abilities. She can ruin all your effort by just spamming the revivr mindlessly on her downed team mates. No other medic in the game allow you to do this. Not to mention that it is possible from afar with pretty much no charge at all compared to usual defibrillators.
So, in my mind, they have two choices, because she’ll definitely take more space on snipers than she’s already doing with the next patch : Reduce revivr damage or its reviving capabilities. Thus making her a sitting duck sniper or medic. Currently, she has pretty much best of both worlds.
One issue though : she’s quite on the same spot as phantom and rhino. Those three a quite out of the overall merc flow of the game thus making them incredibly hard to balance. So this must absolutely be done with some caution after a good period of observation.
I’ve played her quite a good bit, I like her, but it feels too cheesy compared to all the other medic. Although she’s very weak with 80hp, this reminds me fragger during closed beta…
one way it could work is for successful revives to suck the energy from the revivegun battery. the more hp rezzed the more battery is drained. this way sparks could quick revive people with less than full health or charge up a full revive or two and be on small cooldown. finally this would allow opposite team to overwhelm spark revive spam.
imo spark got over the board annoying since the patch that made her basically never run out of battery power, which was allegedly a bug fix; as a result a significant buff
sparks should not be able to fully charge-prefire every corner

you are misreading what he is saying. he wasn’t talking about fake accounts, jsut that the same few people discuss sparks over and over
