Need some installation help with Ubuntu

Hi,
I am new to Linux/Ubuntu and would like to have some help regarding installation.
I have downloaded the ET*.run file.
I made it executable… but somehow I cannot start it? Can you help me, please?

For your question, you need to make the file executable.
