need some help

i have wolfenstein:ET and i can get online but i cant join a game. everytime i try to join a game, it keeps downloading something. What do i need?

install patch (2.60) and download most common mods ( etpro, etpub. jaymod )
and you may want to use external server browser ( eg. All Seeing Eye )

What url do you need?

Actually the mods are very small (~ 2 MB).
All content that is running on the server you want to join and that you didn’t have installed will be downloaded.
The biggest downloads are custom maps.
So you could try to join a server that hasn’t installed custom content.

rest will be downloaded automatically, just let it do what it wants to do.

so i downloaded the patch and the etpro mod, is it still normal that when i play a game that i still have to download? and btw, what do i do with etpro, when it finished downloading, it opened a folder

Yes you will usually have to download something if you have never played the game before, or been on a certain server before. You can search other servers for ones without downloads but at the end of the day you will prob have to download. The downloads will be maps, serverconfigs/rotations, etc. So my advice would be just toload up W:ET, connect to a server, and download then you should be able to play this great game!
