Need help with intermissiontime in JayMod

Hello all

I have a few jayservers running and they all seems to have a problem with intermissions time

ive set it to 30 secs, but map barely ends before it goes on to next map, so ppl have no time watching scores an stuff

Jaymod is the only mod i ever came across this problem tbh

so if anyone has a solution, that would be marvelous :slight_smile:

anyway heres the details
Linux Server
2.55+ --> IP 81.91.242.31:27966 to test it, its a ND server
Jaymod 2.2.0
Enhanced mod

have this added into servers cfg

// Intermission
set g_intermissionTime 30
set g_intermissionReadyPercent 100

its the same settings i use in other mods and there they works flawlessly

have u checked your intermissiontimeready cfg line? make sure its on 100%, cuz bots during the intermission are counted as players, so if there is like 4 bots on server and 1 player, it will immidietly go on nextmap because maybe ur intermissiontimereadypercent is 50, so , make sure its set on 100% and then try again.

Maybe a stupid suggestion, but maybe your cfg contains the same commands twice, or you are calling two cfgs and one overwrites the other?

(I’ve had it happen to me)

Apart from that the commands look correct and I haven’t experienced the same problem.

No we had similar problem back in 2007-08 but our issue was fixed by g_intermissionReadyPercent.

Try to check it’s value from RCON once u start the server to make sure it’s on 100%. What stealth said can be true…

I remember when I was admin I had always a RCon utility on an USB key just in case x) Good old times…

Entered server and and checked with

/rcon g_intermissionTime it said set g_intermissionTime is 30 standard is 60
and
/rcon g_intermissionReadyPercent it said g_intermissionReadyPercent is 100 standard 100

What happens if u try to use g_intermissionTime 60? Does it works?

Nope that didnt work either

well il just have to split my cfg apart and ad the lines one of the time, starting with the intermissionsstuff

do you have a default.cfg in the mapcfg directory? i had a similar problem where some settings didnt setup cause default.cfg kept resetting it to HIS setting…default.cfg…maybe search for it, worth a try.

No i havent

for some reason it seems to be allright now on my ND server :wink:

well then il just have to copy all my tries on the Fun and Sniperserver also
