(JNDK22) #1

I been following the game for sometime now, Im interested in making a website about the game. But the only problem is I dont know a thing about making websites. I know I know Im such a noob. But I want to start on it at the end of the month. If someone here can make websites, something good but not flashy just good enough. Then Ill reward you. Which can be discussed later. Whos up for it?

I can probably help. My primary area is website graphics although I’m quite proficient with standard HTML etc.

First question: Will you be using your webspace provided by your ISP?

(JNDK22) #3

No to the first question.

(Redh3lix) #4

Elaborate… what does you website hosting package include?

(JNDK22) #5

Well I been looking at different packages. Obviously Im going to get the best package for the job. Can you recommend any host?

(JNDK22) #6

I been looking at some host, but havent decided yet. But will at the end of the month when I get the money to lift it off ground, the site that is.

I can recommend: http://order.1and1.co.uk/

ETNation used to be hosted by them and we never experienced any problems.

No reward m8, just PM me when you get your webspace. Make sure it allows SQL database(s).

Do you have aol instant messenger?

(Redh3lix) #11

AOL?! I don’t think anything AOL exists on my PC. In fact I’ve removed the keys from my keyboard “A” “O” and “L”… hehehehe

I’ve PM’d you my MSN Messenger contact details.

One point first:

Depending on how large a scale you want to go, you’ll be needing volunteers to gather news, media etc aswell as forums moderators etc. It will be beneficial if you also have someone on board who’s familiar with the different website CMS’s such as PHP and Dragonfly CMS and their workings.

I certainly wont have time to help as I have quite a few websites to run myself.
