Hah ha… that’s the exact reason I was inquiring. There was an incident where a good allied covert ops was mingling with our team. He’d follow someone a bit then waste them… he was good and doing this over and over. Well some new guy on our team was a covert ops. He started following me around kindof like this allied guy had been doing. Naturally I was on edge and it happened so much that I just wasted him. Bummer–wasn’t him. I only did this because I was a medic and I quickly revived him and got his health back up. I was answered with a complaint. Among other things I was ticked. I didn’t feel like reviving him anymore, but no names above teammates on the ground. Being the good medic I am, I got over myself and just went ahead and indiscriminately revivied everyone–no use being ineffective because of one lame duck.
Since my initial post I have thought it over and even if they did put names over wounded comrades I probably would still indiscriminately revivie–even after something like this. I can choose to be bigger than the issue at hand. I guess it would be falling to their level to walk by them after you saw their name. Two wrongs don’t make a right.
Still, it’s very annoying to have a complaint filed for an obvious accident (maybe it wasn’t obvious to him, but I did revivie then receive the complain AFTER I took care of him). Anywho… I’m over it now.
