Name appear over wounded (not dead) comrades?

First of all, excellent game Splash Damage. I’m thoroughly addicted.

I noticed that a wounded comrade who is down waiting for a medic does not have a name appear above. Is there any consideration of implementing this in the future? It would be beneficial in some ways that I have run across recently.

I thought about the same thing.

There was a fella who I did a TK/Revive on who filed against me twice in the same match. So I Was thinking,: Alright screw him, I aint fixing his ass anymore… But that thought lasted a whole 30 seconds. After that I just didn’t care. Figured it was better to show him team play rather than isolate him anymore for the team. So I still helped him when I could.

But I try to stick with my fireteam when I can. The icons remain over their head when they are wounded. Gives me a brighter target to find them with. Sometimes the wounded end up in funky locations and I can’t find 'em. I was hoping along in a small area searching for my engie while dodging bullets. I finally got fragged and sent him a message saying I was sorry. Seems he was above me hanging above a light in gold rush. Never thought to look up…

Hah ha… that’s the exact reason I was inquiring. There was an incident where a good allied covert ops was mingling with our team. He’d follow someone a bit then waste them… he was good and doing this over and over. Well some new guy on our team was a covert ops. He started following me around kindof like this allied guy had been doing. Naturally I was on edge and it happened so much that I just wasted him. Bummer–wasn’t him. I only did this because I was a medic and I quickly revived him and got his health back up. I was answered with a complaint. Among other things I was ticked. I didn’t feel like reviving him anymore, but no names above teammates on the ground. Being the good medic I am, I got over myself and just went ahead and indiscriminately revivied everyone–no use being ineffective because of one lame duck.

Since my initial post I have thought it over and even if they did put names over wounded comrades I probably would still indiscriminately revivie–even after something like this. I can choose to be bigger than the issue at hand. I guess it would be falling to their level to walk by them after you saw their name. Two wrongs don’t make a right.

Still, it’s very annoying to have a complaint filed for an obvious accident (maybe it wasn’t obvious to him, but I did revivie then receive the complain AFTER I took care of him). Anywho… I’m over it now.

I think it could be usefull if there is a TK among your team, you don’t want to revive THAT guy but how to sort him out of the frindly corpses waiting for a revive ?
