Okay, here’s a coupe more things that have been occupying me recently…

  1. I noticed that, in the videos, there was only one boat. I think it would be good to include several kinds. Water combat is really fun (IMO ever more so than air combat)! I mean, it’s okay if boats aren’t the dominant vehicle, but having two more can’t hurt. :slight_smile:

  2. I’de like to see some sort of of Xfire system where you can make a list of friends and see what servers they are playing on and chat to them. Would be neat if you could set a list of server favorties too.

  3. One thing that I loved about Quake 4 was all the rockets flying around. :slight_smile: It would be neat if there was a vehicle that could fire lots off rockets at the same time (or in rapid succession) :wink: I would also like to be able to shoot down rockets.

  4. Someone must have said it already, but online stats and ranking.

  5. I haven’t seen much info about the weapons, so can someone direct me to an interview that deals with the weapons?

  6. Another thing that I loved about Quake is how you have this one vehicle that has many weapons, would be nice to see soemting similar in ET : QW. :slight_smile:

  7. Would be cool if there were a wide variety of energy weapons. There’s something really neat about many colors of lasers flying around. :wink:

  8. In the E3 interview, Paul said that there would be an RTS system with base building? Can someone elaborate on this?

  9. Earlier it was mentioned that engieers will be able to deplay turrets. I’m curious, what kinds of turrets will be available?

  10. Can we customize our characters? How about weapons?

It’s mostly about infantry. I’d like to have the vehicles as a complement, not as an alternative. :wink:

At least the list of server favourites is nice. The buddy system would be a good addition, but it’s not worth to delay other features imho.

Most people fear for the energy weapons since they have the most irritating projectiles flying around. I can imagine that rockets do the same, so we probably would want to keep it to the minimum.

It’s in. No in-game privileges, just plain old bragging rights.

I mentioned it before, people love their screen estate. Too many colors looks too UT-ish for them.

There are all sorts of deployables… I don’t really know what more he could be pointing to.

1 kind of turret, but you can use it manually or in “auto” mode.

About |}UM{–}G{|FeAR’s last message, this sounds stupid but I think there is more than one boat or at least if you look at some of the screen shots, you’ll notice an amphibious assault. If you look carefully you will also see that the strogg are fire upon the machine, this suggesting that there may be other boats for the strogg race. Not that I am attempting to out do you, just I thought you might want to check it out. It looks like it could add another level to the game, not as an ultimate pwnage vehicle but more of a strategic form of transportation.
