Today I would like to say this to every person who’s participated in Brink and most importantly this is my guide for Splash Damage and their future. Splash Damage, as much as I like Brink we know that it needs to be improved within the hope of prosperity. I would like to say that Brink needs to have more depth and content to surprise gamers. I also think that within it’s fixes and more content to be needed to succeed in more addicting online. We would like to see more in terms of story as well. I would like to say that if you wish to convince Bethesda into expanding Brink, show them that they had a game of their own that almost got them out of business. (The Elder Scrolls 1 Arena) The first Elder Scrolls game received negative reviews, had serious bugs, and had bad sales at first. However, thanks to proper advertising and word of mouth the game became a cult hit. Now the Elder Scrolls is well know as the best RPG series to play. So I advise not just Splash Damage, but founder of Splash Damage and game director of Brink Paul Wedgwood if you seek prosperity and a comeback success to you triple AAA game know as Brink. Convince Bethesda to give you the proper chance, patch as much as you can for Brink, add more content, and most importantly add more depth to your masterpiece. Just a few weeks ago, I posted a thread entitled I have a dream, clearly inspired by Martin Luther King Jr. But will say this to those who are playing Brink and will stay playing. My loyal players and fans, ask not what Splash Damage can do for Brink, ask what you can do to make Brink into a comeback success but without disagreement and that is to know that we are the only people that can help Splash Damage secure their future, we are the people that can help there game become a success. So Mr. Wedgwood, make use to the best of your ability to ensure that you game will live up to what it truly was made to be!
My guide to Splash Damage and it's shooter known as Brink
Nicely said!
Thank you. I would like to say that a man I proudly liked as a politician made a speech that changed more than needed for peace and prosperity. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtYdjbpBk6A
So the priority Brink needs now is MOAR of everything?
Not exactly, read it again.
patch as much as you can for Brink, add more content, and most importantly add more depth
You mean this?
So what did you suggest exactly? I cant say I saw anything besides words of endearment.
So what did you suggest exactly? I cant say I saw anything besides words of endearment.
There’s more than that in my post.
There’s more than that in my post.
no there isnt, theres nothing in your post other than a rambling fix it my way
BRINK isn’t a triple AAA game by a long shot and calling it SD’s masterpiece… let’s just say I would take it as an insult if I was Paul Wedgewood…
W:ET was SD’s masterpiece since it’s the best MP FPS they ever made, with ET:QW as a close second
BRINK should be put down quickly and quietly and we should all move on as soon as possible and forget about this mistake.
W:ET Live???
ET:QW 2??
YES PLEASE!!!

SDK?
Without free weekends no decent number of people are going to pick the game up and the population will dwindle away without more content (which is super expensive for them to make).
The players and fans can’t help add to content without an SDk but an SDK is also expensive. I hope Beth throw more money this way but I’m thinking we’ve got pretty much all we’re going to get.
There’s a weapon tweak on the way. Maybe there’ll be some more advertising push / free weekends after that.
They’ve been tweaking the weapons for over 3 months now.
What happend in playtesting before release anyway?
I think this is extremely debatable… But well said, nonetheless.
Brink’s shortcomings aren’t only due to advertising and content though. They can only patch so much before we just need a new version of the game itself. Which I hope for.
I have never understood the hate on brink… it was never broken when it released it played fine for me and if you don’t like the game I will give you the same answer I give people when they tell me they don’t like America…
