Does anybody happen to know how to ban a range of IPs on nitmod.
And does anybody happen to have a list of IPs used by proxies?

Atm got some script kiddie constantly changing his IP to avoid a ban (through proxies)

Also is there a way to remove the notification that a new player joined? Or the “You are Banned for xxx”
because he is also running a script to constantly reconnect to the server every second or so.

Thanks!

range bans are usually in the form of

123.12.123.xxx
or
123.12.xxx.xxx

normally only works if he’s using his ISP’s dynamic range
Does anybody happen to know how to ban a range of IPs on nitmod.
Vanilla ET has a feature for that:

g_banIPs
A comma delimited list of IPs that are banned from the server.
Use /rcon addip <ip> to add an IP to the list.
Use /rcon removeip <ip> to remove an IP from the list.
You can ban IP ranges by adding incomplete IPs, e.g. 192.168.2 instead of 192.168.2.1

g_filterBan
Toggles IP banning. If set to 0, g_banIPs will be ignored.
Also is there a way to remove the […] “You are Banned for xxx”
If you ban via lua, you can define your own drop-messages. I dunno though if nitmod has a lua interpreter.
