must share this story with someone :D

The goal WAS slight obstruction of the keeper, however it probably would of been given in another match. Take it this way, if terry wasent there, then the keeper could of easily got that ball out of the way of cambell. There was definately no push tho. so the goal should of stood if that was the refs reasoning.

I can never understand scottish always supporting the team playing england, found it embarrasing trying to explain to international students at uni, who were totally taken aback by it

it isnt really the team, we know there good, and we know we are total crap, its more the cockyness of the team/fans and especially the commentators, which we have to put up with even watching a game with engand not playing. I mean, were watching say the spain portugal game. Im wanting facts on those teams, not every 5 mins a fly comment ‘just think about whats going through the mind of sven’. The only way to stop that, is for them to get out the tournament so non-english peeps can enjoy 1 football game without all the stupid comments.

if u were watching then u wuld have noticed dat the keeper was no way going to get the ball even if Terry was not there and the keeper did jump to get the ball but he complelty missed and Terry was behind the keeper and not in front of him so Terry was not in way of keeper. u shuld hav also noticed dat from ther start of match the refree was complelty with Portugal.

And so we let them make their chocolate in peace

the English Media are a pain to everyone, im sure englishpeeps included.
Solution: Watch the TV, turn volume down and listen to Rado 5 commentary!

He missed because he crashed into terry, look at it again, u blind bat  If you tried to jump sideways into a person/wall/ whatever, you would fall short, its physics.

What the hell, so there’s a new rule that we’re not allowed to try and head the ball? Our players must stand out of the way and let the keeper come to collect it? Shut up. It was a perfectly fair goal, there is NO RULE that says Terry wasn’t allowed to jump for the ball, he was closer than the keeper, the keeper was out of position, he can’t expect english players to say “here ya go mate, i’ll let you get to it instead of me”, Terry didn’t even look at the keeper. The only slight hint of a foul would have been Campbell on Terry.

Portugese can’t sleep at night.

Great story  Humanity wins. :)… Not sure if I like the joint part (I rarely do drugs), but hey. You got friendly before the joint got pulled out so the story is still good

Thanks for sharing!!!

I fear this debate is never-ending, and shall bear no fruit. I find a dignified silence is the least atrocious stance to take, no matter how bad one is hurtin’, or how malign the universe or its occupants may seem. But it absolutely was a goal. And the ref was bent. He even managed to give a free kick against Rooney for having his foot broken. Now that’s class. My own puny and petty attempts at gross dishonesty and fraud pale by comparison.

So, it was a farce, a robbery, a nightmarish stitch-up. And with that, I shall return to my dignified silence. Having broken silence, and lost any shred of dignity. Sigh.

Impression of a Swiss person:

“Boo hoo, sniffle, please don’t hurt me, whimper…”

(CM..Punk) #35

I sent the referee death threats. Can you believe this guy has his own website and fanclub (made up of the portugese I bet).

How could anyone care so much about soccer?

Anyway I find it ironic that the original post was trying to show people getting along after the game instead of rioting in the streets (which seems to be the usual post-soccer-game protocol) and 90% of the replies are just complaining about the game.
