I just saw this in use on Fueldump for the first time. Is this new, or am I hopelessly behind the curve? The rockets seem to travel a lot slower though. It’s like a portable airstrike. Any unusual limitations on it, like more power bar use, etc.?

What the fuck I’m talking about is: one panzer shooting an array of about 6 rockets in formation. I saw several volleys pass overhead, also a PF soldier launch one right next to me. This must be a new mod, and it looks real cool. I am not on drugs, this was multiple rockets from one normal looking PF.

Nope, this wasn’t lag or a hallucination. Gameplay was normal, except for a bunch of guys shooting multiple rockets. Each volley was arranged in a symetrical pattern, I think it was four over four rockets. The explosion was very similar to an airstrike, what you would expect to see when eight PF explode simultaneously. This was about 8 AM eastern time this morning. I forgot to note the server. Is there any record of which server you play on stored within ET? Maybe I could find it and post the IP.

Quit playing on servers with increased recharge rates. It`s sad.
All we need now are Panzers to be able to toss out all 4 Panzers in 15 seconds.

ND80 runs a server called “Unlimited Abuse”
It is set for non-serious goofy play with, among other things:
Continuous XP carryover
Very fast recharge rates
Looooong mission timers
Sloooooow tanks/railgun
UL
And:
Party panzers - multiple rockets from a single shot. This is set to turn on and off every couple of minutes.

Bingo! That sever’s great when I want to get a quick game in before I go to work or bed. Too bad some people that play on it take the server too serious and want a “real” game on it.

This is why I don’t like shrub, you get no guarantee of the gameplay you are going to get. Some servers could use simple changes, others go for the long shot.

Well, it has a few nice features (admin bot, private messaging, etc). I use shrub, but I have most of the ceazu features turned off.
Speaking of which, is there a new version of shrubet I don’t know about? I know a few servers (ND80 amongst them) run a pre-release version, but is there any chance of there being another public release anytime soon? I’m still running shrubet 1.1 for ET 2.56, which is essentially the same as the version released 7/29/03 AFAIK.

The problem that exists right now is that Shrub has disappeared due to real life issues and I’m not sure what we can expect in the terms of support any time soon. I’d love to pass on the version that I am running, but without his permission, I cant.
