Well, Somebody had to ask sooner or later I guess.

So are we likely to see a multiplayer test of RTCW:ET released any time soon do you think?

The response the 1st MP Test got for RTCW Was phenomenal as you know - And was probably one of the key reasons behind it’s success -

I can well understand any concern over releasing it with the right map/setup in place, As it will give people a definite bias as to whether they purchase the full game or not, So many people on the other hand are saying now that they will purchase Rtcw:Et based on the merits of Rtcw… Who can blame them.

Personally it’s the idea of seeing more Splash Damage large scale maps in place along with the 6 player squad implementation that will get me buying it.

Anyway - Enough ranting - If you have any news re: mp_test - Please let us know.

There are 1000’s of people salivating for a chance to play an ET mp demo – But the developers already have solid nearly bug-free network performance from RTCW, and RTCW was popular enough that consumers know basically what to expect, so maybe they won’t need a demo for the average gamer – As for us RTCW player, we all want an ET mp demo just to get a taste of the game we’ve been waiting for all this time, but we’re already sold – so no need to make a demo for us, either. I would, however, lease (not sell) my soul to play an mp demo of ET, as I am eagerly anticipating its release. Hell I pre-ordered the game way last summer and paid for it already. It would be nice to at least have a movie of in-game play with bots, as ET is in a playable form according to the press who have played it . . .
