MP test: nade physics and whatenot

Heh, I remember those nade physics that they had in the ET MP test. When I first tried the new physics out, it ended in some funny outcomes:

1.) Two allied engies building bridge, axis rushing bridge crates. I crank a nade (as allies) and plan to toss it into tunnel. While strafing to aviod sniper fire from hill, I chuck the grenade towards the tunnel. Grenade flies sideways onto two engies by crates and gibs both.

2.) As Axis, allied engie planting on top of objective. Take out grenade for a routine throw onto top of objective. I crank and chuck, grenade airmails engie and falls to opposite side, explodes in midair next to ladder, killing engie who would have disarmed dyno.

Anyone else have some funny stories from the MP test?

can’t remember, it was so long ago. I know I got 3 kills with a grenade when I hucked it from the Tunnel Doors to the doorway where the Allies exit the spawn.

I wouldn’t mind seeing those grenade physics though. While the learning curve for these momentum grenades is a lot steeper, there are a lot more possiblities with them.

I loved the mptest nade physics. You could throw nades for miles!

I was an allied CovOps on top of the roof at the Axis FuelDump and wanted to throw a Stachel down to blow the west gate, instead the stachel flew at high speed into the mountains behind the fuel dump :smiley:

Man, we got SO much grief over those new 'nade physics, even when they worked ok : }
Personally, I was able to pull of some absolutely magnificent 'nade kills, several of which were deliberate…

Yep, the MPTest nades rocked.

Too used to the current ones now but if I could id change them back for good.

Can still get me distance and height with these ones anyway.

Arghh!! The nade physics were a nightmare although it was pretty amusing watching everyone trying to get to grips with them!!

However, I’m sorry but I just couldnt get over those voices… Wah tu? and Iiiiiiiiim a fieeeeeeeeeeeld uups! lmao!!!
