Thank you.

Ok question question… Its not working… I set my fps to 43, but it hasn’t improved my jump much… How DO I do the pmove thing? just tell me exactly what i’d put in console for 43… thanks =D

(Sick Boy) #65

in console:
\com_maxfps 43
\pmove_fixed 1

Mind that in etpro pmove_fixed is write-protected

(Redqueen) #66

Crazy stuff guys.

How do I allow cg_Thirdperson 1?

(Sick Boy) #67

I downloaded it from the Norwegian University and I all I got was a 4 and a half minute screen of the start up credits and the entire song. The entire vid was just was screen. Can someone post a reliable link?

(RabidRodents) #72

its at RTCW files, perhaps your media player is mezzed 2

(Kendle) #73

You’re missing the codec needed to play it, that’s all. Get it from:-

http://www.divx.com/divx/

(Sick Boy) #74

You get that if you have a too old divx version installed

I’m working on it … :moo:

(Fusen) #75

hmm quick question but which is betetr fps 125 or 43? orrr even 76?

i thought it was 43 but its been said that 333 would be optimal so now i’m thinking bigger the better?

(Fusen) #78

333 is the perfect, optimum FPS, but as you say, which mere mortals can get that kind of frame-rate?

Assuming you don’t have a 3Ghz P4 with 1Gb RAM and whatever’s the latest, greatest gfx card these days, then 125 is next best followed by 76, then 43. So cap yours at whichever of those is the highest you can consistently maintain.

(twiFight) #80

I can get a steady framerate of 6 fps, maybe I should make a trick jump movie too :blah:
