The Covert Ops and Medic bits are the best. It kinda surprised me how they bothered to emulate the whole scroll-wheel weapon selection routine! haha…

Seriously tho, the screens look excellent so i’ll download that after work tonight and fair plays to you for making the effort. The Wolfy Scene is healthy again with ET and lots of creative people are involved in messing around, be that websites, mapping, sounds, video, photoshopin and all that!! Its helped be learn how to use photshop!
The RTCW movie was ‘10 reasons you play to much wolfenstein’ by a german clan who i forget this early in the morning, thread about it in here somewhere…

Posted about this before but if anyone wants to see a decent vid giving a brief idea of pr0gaming check out the Modern Day Gamer 2 vid… think its on xs/esreality.com… Shows 4^Kings in action briefly on mp_ice in RTCW and interviews with the clan (Zommy etc) and John Romero (Daikitana innit?)/Paul Wedgewood (Locki from SD)…
Also for those who don’t know about it, www.own-age.com is a site dedicated to game movies from all about going from the obvious ones being HL, UT, Quake 1, 2, 3, CS, RTCW, ET, JK etc… worth a good look and a few downloads… some of the RTCW and Q3 ones are superb… trick jumping madness all round in the Q3OSP ones and full team rapage in RTCW… think the ET ones come under RTCW. Lastly, check out www.swertcw.com… they host a good few decent ET/RTCW flicks and its all at top speed… was gettin 73kb/s on a 600k connection.
Anyone reconmend any movies?

3 movies i recommend from www.own-age.com and why…
1st up, The Badge V3. A Q3 frag movie, this was a benchmark in video editing for game movies when it was released. Jaw dropping effects, frags and music that makes you go “I’m bloody sure i’ve heard that in a movie somewhere!”. A must for any movie collection. (Duration:6mins 17secs Size:169mb)
Next we have Annihilation made by the very owner of own-age himself. Once again the bar was raised when this movie was made. Insane frags from Q3 players around the world… with a couple QuakeCon familiar names in there too. The syncing of music to frags is amazing and the stomping soundtrack combined with the uber skills of some of these dudes keeps your heart pounding all the way through. Currently the most downloaded movie ever on own-age.com by miles. (Duration:15mins Size:285mb)
Last up we have 4K Revolution. Made by the boys over at Shaolin Productions for the 4Kings squad after their stint at QuakeCon, this movie did for RTCW movie making what The Badge 3 did for Q3. Jaw dropping effects, insane music syncing and an awsome soundtrack. The camera effects used here add quality to the frags. And some filtering to make it look better than actually playing the game yourself. (Duration:20mins Size: 596mb)
All of those are highly recomended indeedydoo. I just got my 2mb adsl after being 3 years on ISDN, and believe me a raped own-age.com when i got it. Think i downloaded summin like 3gig of movies in 3 days!! I won’t tell you my pr0n collection size :eek2:
