Lol, and here I am using a 10$ Dell mouse with a half-broken right click for the past year. Maybe I should pay attention to this thread in case anyone recommends something good xD

Razer mice are considered snake oil merchants.

I did have one, Deathadder, and it bite me. One day it refused to move the cursor, 2 years after warranty…

So best to stay away from these venomous vile creatures!

Nowadays I have Modecom Volcano Mouse GMX2, works like a charm. Don’t believe in those brand qualities.

Zowie EC2-B

You’re not going to get good responses without being more specific. What exactly is your price range? How big are your hands?

I recommend the Logitech G303 / G Pro. They’re not big mice, are very lightweight and have a traditional shape. They also have very few buttons, so if you also play mmopergers, maybe not a great choice. If you’re one of those super low sensitivity players and thunk your shit around like a deranged madman, I don’t know how long they’ll last in your clumsy bear paws on account of minimalist construction. For price, I think they’re around $60, but iirc, the G303 commonly went on sale for $35, and I expect the successor G Pro to follow suit.

I said something similar to a G9x. Oh, and for any ladies present i have very large hands AND feet.

exQ3, UT Player here.

I myself like WMO and currently using http://www.x7.cn/en/product.asp?id=38 , I just love this mouse, got 3 so far. First one rage RIP after lost match, 2nd destroyed by cat, each one of them had a good long life before death (1,5 year+). Recently after hating razers (tried few) got back to my love - X7.

You might’ve forgotten that the G9x has two sizes, technically three, via swappable shells. The large shell was also kinda weird in that typically, wide mice are also tall, but the G9x was wide without being tall. You also didn’t mention whether you even liked the mouse.

Dell made a G9x clone, though that mouse is single size / doesn’t have swappable shells, reducing weight and rattle. That said, I’m fairly certain the Dell mouse, like the G9x, is retired.

i kept doing this and now my mouse is entering its 3rd year without the crappy double click or hard to click

I’ll risk sounding like a brand loyalist here, but give respect where it’s due. You can’t go wrong with pretty much anything from Zowie, Logitech, or Steelseries. I’ve used a bit of everything and I prefer Zowie for their shells. I’m 6’4’’ and have large hands so that could just be me. Find the shell you like the most and make sure the sensor used is fairly recent. Quality control and comfort is the most important factor here because pretty much all of the higher end mice from the top manufacturers are within a few notches of each other in terms of performance.

Lol, guilty as charged… I’ve ripped so many items and mouse bungees off of my desk that I’ve lost count. It does get pretty fatiguing at times, but I can’t aim to save my life on anything high or moderate.

@Nail: I used to be the same way, but I guess as I got older I stopped caring about what’s the best and more about whether I’m willing to support ‘x’ company and want my money going to them. Intel has some dirtbag market practices and I typically avoid going with Nvidia nowadays because I don’t want them to gain a monopoly on an already limited field with inflated prices. Thankfully (and finally) I can buy some crap from the red team that isn’t just a decision on principle. Ryzen delivered.

Pick your poison, I hear ya. Competition is great for everyone, though. Can’t really turn anywhere anymore if you’re lookin’ for a great company sadly.

Best thing you can do (if it’s possible) go to some big store where you can try different mouses and choose the one that feels the best. I can tell you from experience, some mouses are to small, other to big; some to heavy, other too lite; some look really good but feel unconftrable while others look cheap and nothing special but they feel perfect when you put them in your hand. It depends on you and your hand size.

I have my Razer deathadder 2013 for 4 years now and had no problems with it whatsoever. I am not saying it’s perfect, it could be a little smaller and more grippy, but other than that i can only say good things about it
