Mouse locking

I know this is kind of not et related but, my mouse “animation” keeps freezeing on my screen, then my actual mouse pointer goes invisable so if i can find where it is, it works… anyone know why this would happen? i had to tab my way here… Only thing iv installed lately would be updates for nivida drivers…and cs:s running winxp.

have you tried removing any old mouse drivers and reinstalling ?

yea tryed that, think its my windows tho, gonna reformat. thanks anyway.

maybe try install latest mobo drivers
Maybe try change IRQ for the USB controller
install latest mouseware (or whatever)
check ur USB cable and connector

Maybe your mouse just doesn’t like you? I can’t think why…
